Here is what i am running into:My car had a aftermarket head unit installed and it was working fine. I replaced the rear speaker with pioneer speakers. I took out the old deck and now trying to get the new one working. I have all the stereo wires connected correctly. I have Yellow to Yellow Red to Red, Black to ground. Nothing. What it is weird I can cross the Red wire with a (+) stereo and the deck will turn on, but there is no sound at all.. I don't know if I have a Bose amp or not. I tried connecting Blue to Blue, Blue to Blue/White crossing Blues with Red. Please help

are you wiring into an adapter harness or are you litterally splicing into the stock harness!? if your cutting the stock harness, STOP! go buy the adapter harness!

I do have a harness. Okay so now it is working, but not the way i want it. I have to connect RED and YELLOW together to have it work. Plus I haven't been able to get my antenna to raise correctly.

Are you running the factory BOSE system? when you replace the door speakers in those, you need to replace ALL of them. for some reason they don't like aftermarket buddies. if you replace the fronts, you need to replace the backs. same thing the other way.

The one thing you may be overlooking is the remote turn on for the factory amp if your car has the upgraded factory stereo. The only way around it is to run wires directly to the speakers you just installed from your head unit. this is commonly overlooked by novice car audio installers. This is the blbue wire coming out of your stereo. But be careful because some aftermarket radio's have 2 remotes one for the antenna to go up and down and one for an amp. This tells the amp to turn on and off when the radio isn't powered up. below i copied and pasted the wire diagram from the 12volt.com Hope this helps you out. Also if you have a long enough wire run it directly from you aftermarket radio to your new speakers or use it with a speaker you don't have installed. The info below doesn't have a remote wire turn on color but I know there is one there. If you clipped all the wires down but kept some of it so you knew which color was which look for the blue wire, it's your remote.
