1991 Nissan 240sx hatchback Overheating plz help?

I drive on the streets and when im driving my car is fine its cool and then when I stop at a light or anything like that the temp gauge goes really close to the H and then once I start going again its fine can anyone help me?

well.....sounds like your gauge might just be screwed up....you dont notice any mechanical problems do you? i would say air pocket but that would randomly happen anytime your driving.....replace t-stat if u want and make sure coolant level is good....thats about it unless you left somethin out
