1991 M30 Heater/AC blower runs continuously....????

The heater/AC blower on my 1991 M30 suddenly started running continuously whenever the key is in the "ON" position. It does not stop even if I push the OFF button, and does not slow down when I push the manual blower speed control button. Any ideas?
