I did A search, but had trouble finding all that I would need to do to install a 1991 Ka24e motor into my 1986.5 Nissan Hardbody Truck 2wd 4cyl manual 5 speed. I just bought a 91 Ka24e motor out of a 91 4cyl 5speed Hardbody and would like to put it in my truck and also use the Intake manifold out of a 90-91 240sx. What all would I need to make this work? Wireing harness for the Ka24e truck motor, harness out of the 240sx for the intake manifold, and I would want to use the ecu that goes to the Ka24e truck motor correct or should I just use a electromotive or an other after market ECU?Im also not going to be using the emmissions stuff.Thank'sSpanky

You will need to do some serious moding and computer programing as the 240 and D21 set ups are totally different. The truck uses a different kind of airflow meter. My GUESS would be to use the wiring harness from a 90 240 and its ecm. the airflow meter from the 90 240. You would also need to use the intake from the 90 240. 91 and newer 240s are DE not E engines and have different intake to head bolt patterns.
