1991 g20 short ram intake problem

hi everybody i have a 91 infiniti g20 with the sr20de motor and i recently bought a short ram intake for it. well i went to install it yesterday and i can only plug 3 vacuum hoses but the stock one has 5 of them i try to eliminate 2 of them and the car would just shut off . do anyone have any idea how to make this intake work,

find the root of the extra 2 vacuum hoses and cap them off.
