1991 50th ANNIV. MAX

IS it true that the 3000 ECCS Nissan V6 fuel injected engine in the '91 max 50th Anniversary ed. car is the same as the nissan 300 zx base model? I might buy one and the huy told me this is true?

There is no such thing as a "50th anniversary" 3rd gen. They did not come with 300zx engines. They shared the same block "VG"(z31-z32 300zx) though.

engines they came with89-94 GXE and 89-91 SE VG30e -single cam non-turbo 3 liters 92-94 SE VE30DE -twin cam non-turbo 3 liter

The only thing I can recall Nissan having as a 50th anniversary anything was in '84 I believe. All of thier cars had a 50th anniversary badge on them. I may have the year wrong so anyone feel free to jump in and clarify if they want.
