i can't believe he left it automatic. i hate how there are so many auto 300zx's. i know what you mean though, it's not necessarily rice though. i would call it white trash syndrome. whenever a white trash person gets a hold of a z car they think they have to put a small block v-8 in it. anyways, did you lose to that black supra that drives around nebraska that's all show no go? he has like 22" tires in rear, eurolights, and the muffler is slanted out to the side. the only reason he beats people is because it's a supra. he could be wastin people though, if he'd put everything back to stock, including tires. his takeoffs are slower than hell.

Hmmmm. I like it. Hope that doesn't make me "white trash".

It's gotta be faster than the original, esp if it was n/a. Helluva lot cheaper to make it fast, too.

I like that 300ZX on ebay. I bet it handles better than the twin turbo version. Just think if that was an all aluminum LS engine! That would be awesome!Tyler

That is a 2+2, which means it was NA originally.

91 supra does not have 320 horses. that was 93.5 and up with the 2jz-gte engine that had that rating.

why does everyone hate supras? they are a good car with amazing possibilities...and i am not talking about that orange POS from F&F. i am talking about the many 750 plus (at the wheels) horsepower cars running around making consistant power.

by the way, did ya'll know that the jz block is based on a chevy design?

oh, and that 300 has an automatic transmission b/c it is a chevy trans, not a nissan auto. TCI builds some nice, strong autos that will rule at the drag strip and not break.

No one was talking about a Supra. Red240one was talking about something completely different.

A 91 TT is 325 fhp. And yes the 2+2 is N/A. Someone in Japan has an N/A Z32 with a chevy 350 in it. I don't understand how this is rice? Seems to me like it'd be fast. No one calls a 350 in a 240z or 280zx rice, why would it be different for a Z32?

Agreed.

Like I said, $3K in THAT motor and you've got a wicked-a$$ Z. $3K in the original motor and you're wishing you had another $3K.

Far from rice, at any rate. No stickers, no add-ons, and probably quicker than it was with the Z motor.
