I know a decent amount about them but this one just has me stumped. it was running great for a solid week then all of a sudden stalled out on me and I've replaced the ptu, cas, plugs and fuel filter and pump and still has fixed the issue.
if I try starting the car first thing in the morning it'll try to fire but won't run but itll only try to fire for a few seconds then no matter what I try after that it won't even fire. but if I let it sit for some hours it'll try doing that same thing again. I also replaced spark plugs but I can't figure out what's going on. it doesn't make sense that it was running perfectly then all of a sudden stall and I've tried for 3wks now to get it back running all relays seem to be working and electric seems to be fine from what I can tell

When you pulled the plugs were they wet?
Have you checked fuel pressure?
Have you confirmed that the fuel pump is running?
Have you confirmed that the FPCU is good?

Start by looking through the troubleshooting section in the FSM (link in my sig)

Fuel pump control unit.

Check the FSM troubleshooting section. It's very thorough.
