1991 300zx na cranks but wont start after stall.

Hi I'm new to these forums and the 300zx in general.
I've been looking on the forums to see if others have had this same issue that I'm having with the car but I keep finding similar issues and i'm not sure which one is the one i'm having.
The problem is if it stalls when I first try to start it or if i stall the car, It will crank but will not start back up, if I let it sit for a bit it will eventually crank and start normally or with a little help of the gas pedal but then the revs sputter for a bit. Once its running, its running good, its just that if it stalls I'm stuck, unless I pop start it which doesn't work well if you cant get it on a roll lol.
The car does start up normally in most cases.
To me it seems like somethings off with the idle, when it starts and its going to give me the stalling problem the revs go up but sputter back down unless I give it gas to keep it going until it settles in place.

Sounds like you may have more than 1 issues, the initial stalling sounds like you are flooding your cylinders, have you checked the condition of your plugs? have you pulled codes from the ECU, have you confirmed that you have proper fuel pressure and that all 6 injectors are firing. Lots of things you will need to go over before you can enlist NICO tech support. Check the FSM for troubleshooting procedures, I'd say 80% of issues can be solved using procedures directly from the FMS (factory service manual)
