1991 300zx lifter noise

ok so i have lifter tick. the problem is that these are new lifters. The engine was rebuilt 6months ago. It didn't tick until the first month of driving. No it only ticks on the drivers side and then only after 10min of warm up. So i know the lifte isnt' bad and its not stuck other wise it would do it at start up. No the question is what to do?? Can i put oil in through the vent hose to see if that side is starving of oil?
