1991 240sx: touching wire harness at ecu causes car to die

I dont have ecu bolted to car. Should touching the wire cause a stall?Is there away to repair the harness plug? ie make the connection stronger. thanks?

Maybe it is grounded itself out? Im not sure. But Try bolting it down to the car, and if it stil happens, look for any ripped wires.

bolted back but same thing happened . I have identified the wire that is causing the problem. If you wiggle it even slightly the car dies. it is connected to the condenser/resistor and the power transistor. THis explains my code 21. Now i have to figure out how to secure it.

I guess there are special tools to open up connectors and repin them.

Tried another computer and it does not seem to have this problem. It must have had to do with the pins or connector on computer side. The connector looks kind of warped. This is the second computer i bought in nico forums that was no good.
