yeah, mine has 112k on it now and mines rattling. i thought it was the guide but i never took it apart to see. i actually just ordered a full timing kit, figured i'd replace it all to be on the safe side. i just wasnt sure if i need to get a new valve cover gasket or can i just use the extra half moon things they come with to put it back on. i just replaced the gasket like 5k miles ago so it'd be a waste of money to have to spend another $40 on the plug/valve cover gasket set. since i just spent $330 on the AMS kit. my friend actually just blew his motor up cause his guide broke and he decided to keep driving it like that, but ive been driving mine, beating it, etc... and it still runs lol. so yeah, maybe its the tensioner, didnt think of that.

I just an hour ago finished changing mine, and all i have to say is if its rattleing go ahead and change it now. It gets real ugly if left alone for to long. My whole guide was complete torn apart. Then it just makes for more work.
