need help 1991 240sx

Hi i am a newbie not stupid though my first build i bought a 1991 240sx bad motor an trans auto im switching to a sohc an manual trans now before that im stuck i have no key to the car so i popped it out to use a srcrew driver til iget the title to buy a key so i but a battery in it to try roll the window or get power i have no power at all in the car what could be the many reasons for this i need all the help i can get from fellow 240sx mates its a coupe if it matter

And you have the key on when you're doing this?

Also, if you're getting an entire engine and trans from another car, you might as well get the key cylinders and ignition cylinder out of it too (along with keys), seeing as how you've already ruined the ignition cylinder in yours... which could actually be your problem with the windows.

+1 ^. Just get the key and ignition out of the car youre doing the swap with.
