I need help guys! I'm trying to replace my stock intake pipe but I noticed that there is another tubing connected underneath my stockpipe( near the tubing for the radiator). What exactly is that for and how can I install my new intake.

as far as i know, its a resonator. I think it can just be eliminated.

You are correct. No need for it.

Sorry to bring back an old thread.. but atleast I searched! Is this the tubing almost right after the throttle body? that connects to the intake piping from the bottom?

The reason I am asking is because on the Custom CAI write up, it shows this still connected on the finished intake, and why would you leave a resonator connected on an aftermarket intake?

Any help would be greatttt..

Thanks

Is it about 1.5 inch diameter before the throttle . close to radiator? are we talking about the aiv resonator?

where is it on vacuum diagram? i dont see anything just going to resonator.
