Hey guys this is my first post I hope Im in the right spot for this question, if not please forgive me.

Okay so my question is Im looking at a 1991 240sx Hatch, and the guy wants around 1500 for it. The body is great full body kit and full GODspeed adujustible suspension all the way around ( 2 in engine, 2 in the hatch). My concern is the engine has a swapped in Ka24de I believe (the DOHC version) and when I was driving it, it had this weird shaking to it. The shaking wasnt horribly violent, just rumbly and caused the shift knob to shutter as well, but when I pushed the clutch in, it all stopped. It sounded and felt smooth as silk, no shaking at all until I let go of the clutch. Left it runing for a good 10 minutes no bogging or odd idling, just the odd shaking.
Just wondering if someone could give me any info on this asap so I know what I might be getting into and whether or not to snag this car.

If the shifter is shaking when its sitting still and idling, I would blame the engine mounts, It sounds a little weird to me that it stops when you put the clutch in, but that's my best guess. If that's it, there are two engine mounts and a transmission mount, you can get a full set for under a hundred bucks.
If the car runs well and drives well, I say get it, 1500 is a decent price for an s13 with a coil over setup.

Well the shifter wasnt really shaking while it was idling, it was when I was driving that it had the shake to it. Then, like I said everything would stop shaking when the clutch was in.
