Basically, the topic says it all. After a long and drawn out saga, with a four month stint at a garage-and a guy who did nothing to my car, I have my 91 240sx in my possession again. We are wondering since we are doing the work that the garage was supposed to do, if the block from a 1991 240sx KA24DE is identical to the 1996 KA24DE block, from a 1996 240sx. We are thinking about using the block from the 1996 to "frankenstein" parts onto from the 1991 engine that will go into a 1991 240sx. Will it work? And please don't shoot the redhead, if the answers is easy, I'm just delivering the question so the man is happy!

parts ur gonna have to frankenstein over from ur 91 (assuming its a MT, if it isnt they have to be MT parts) are as follows

distributerign coilalternatortemp sensorengine harness ecuTband thats about it i believe...

im in the middle of this swap (though mine was SOHC to s14 DOHC)
