Ok, heres the deal..

My climate control lights never worked since I picked up the car a year ago, except for the extremely rare night when they work once and then stop workin again...

I disconnected my battery because I was switching out head units and now my Gauge cluster lights went out. I checked all of the fuses for continuity and they check out.

What would be the next step?

Thanks.

you sure the wiring is correct? check to see if the dimmer wire behind it is getting power. also check the dimmer switch itself. maybe it magically got loose. **** happens lol

I have to take out the cluster to get at these things?

You should search... for gauge lights, interior lights, dash lights, etc - this problem has been addressed literally hundreds of times.

The dimmer switch is the one on the gauge bezel that lets you turn the light intensity of the dash/climate control up & down. You can pop that one out by yourself.

Most likely, it has to do w/ the way your head unit is wired, most installers tap the wrong wire and it messes up climate control and/or dash lights.

Completely unplug your head unit & see if you get any lights back.

Then check to make sure you didn't sever any power wires to tap into the HU (i.e. 12v & ACC wires).

Then search some more.

I searched through the archives (missed that b4)

And found an article about a little white box..

Took that apart and found the circuit board to have a burnt trace wire.. Soldered in a new jumper wire and the issue was fixed...
