It's most likely that noise (or rather what is causing the noise) that's your issue. Try spraying some WD40 around points of possible air leaks like your manifold gasket, vacuum nipples, etc. If it's a vacuum leak, it will make the engine rev up a bit. If it's an air leak, you'll see it start to bubble/foam around the air leak. I do hear a sucking sound around my intake manifold somewhere but i dont know where it is comming from do you know of any ways to pin point where vacuum leaks are
