1991 240sx crankshaft position sensor

Hello everybody. I been down this road 2 years ago. Baught a NAPA rebuilt dist. I was told a Stanza dist will also work? Well its going out again. I would like to just replace the sensor. Courtesy Parts has knock sensors in stock. I remember the dealer wanted $463 for a new distributor. Could a sensor for a Stanza work if distributors are the same? I am curious what my options are. This is a daily driver it has 254k miles.

Would spraying electronic cleaner help? I am just wondering if some dust is causing the problems.
