1991 240sx coupe cluster/climate issues

i recently acquired a 1991 240sx, my cluster is lighting up (after i changed the white box under kick panel) the fuel gauge works, the tach, speedo, temp sensor do not. Also, the climate controls do not function but do illuminate. Ive checked many relays, ALL fuses, traced wires ect. I was wondering if there if anyone has had this specific problem and is there maybe a single wire that interconnects all of the controls? Ive read the diagram and followed the R/B power wire to the controls and is carrying 12v. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is project #2......Getting the 93' FB ready for Ground control/koni, energy suspension master kit.....thank you
