1991 240sx: belt tensioner question

Do these only tighten the belt. If you go counter clockwise the long bolt just comes out.

Yeah you also need to loosen the lower bolt on the ps pump itself to get it to rotate. The pulley on the front of the ps pump will hide that bolt the pump pivots on

thanks. Doing a tutorial on water pump so want to get details right.

4. Free the water pump/crank/power steering belt by moving the powersteering pump. There is one 14 mm nut and one 14 mm bolt to loosen.The tensioner only tightens. It does not loosen.

This is the 14mm nut. It is the nut that locks the tensioner.

Tensioning bolt(dont remove. Pic is for interest):



Second thing to loosen. It is a 14mm bolt on opposite side of pump fromtensioner:
