OK, I bought it broke with the intent of swapping in a MT but thought I'd investigate a little first because I plan to sell it anyway....,

The car starts and runs fine but doesn't do anything at all when shifted into any of the gears. Changed the fluid and filter just to check for chunks in the pan (none), but suspected electrical problems since it's all computer & solenoid operated.

I read in the FSM how to do the diagnostic check w/o Consult. (the blinking light codes) It flunked diagnostic check on #6 (overrun clutch), #7 (torque converter solenoid) and #10 (line pressure solenoid). Coincidentally, those three wires take up 3 of 4 adjacent spots on the same side of the Solenoid Pack connector for the transmission harness.

I plan to do the diagnostic checks on each circuit per the FSM, but it rained all night and will rain all day, the car is outside and I have to go back to work tomorrow so that won't happen until the weekend.

I'm just wondering if there's a "typical" place where the transmission sub-harness tends to break, because this is going to bug me until I can get back under it! Thanks in advance!
