try the search button. I only say this bc its been proven 1 hojillion times that you wont lose anything to lack of back pressure with a 3" exhaust. the only thing you gain is facepalm status for sounding like a Jack@$$ with a stupid large exhaust. You dont really need a 3 inch exhaust untill you are turbo'd and even then a 2 1/2 would prob do you fine for a while. it really all depends on how much HP you want to have when you are done.

I have a 3 in cat back, and you will feel a gain in hp but the gas mileage will go down a little. But if you leave the silencer in, you will notice a bit more gain in hp and gas mileage. I think it has something to do with the silencer in you get a bit more back pressure.

I agree. The only reason I went with 3in catback was because I was eventually going to drop a turbo in.

3 in is the biggest you probably should go, if you go any bigger then you'll lose torque, but yeah with that catback you should see a gain of power in the upper rpm's
