1991-1994 240sx: Engine Oil Change procedure

Change oil every 3 months or 3750 miles whichever is sooner.

1. warm engine up so oil flows easily.2. Remove 15 mm oil drain plug on passenger side of oil pan.(keep inward pressure on bolt so hot oil does not spill on you). Also remove oil filler cap.Put a collection pan underneath first.(CAUTION: hot oil burns)3. Remove oil filter by hand. Use cloth for more leverage. Use cloth to catch oil.4. Put a new oil filter on. Tighten until it resists and then 3/4 of a turn. (coat the filter rubber seal with new oil. 5. Replace 15mm oil drain plug. Tighten to 22-29 lbs. Dont over tighten.6.Put new oil in. Check dip stick to see how much to add.7. Run engine and check for leaks around drain plug and oil filter.

Capacity: 4 US quart or 3.8 litres. Go by dip stick when refilling.
