So I've been having this problem for awhile, the cars been sitting for a year before I bought it. I had it towed to my house and had the fuel put replace as long with the housing as well. New fuel and tried starting it, it ran but rough, then I replaced the fuel injectors all 6. After that the car ran perfectly besides my rusted out exhaust that i still need to replace. Now lets go to present time, the cars been sitting for about a year a half again. The reason is why I need help, car was running good like I said I went on vacation and came back to the car not starting or even cranking. I forgot to mention that while I was replacing the fuel system stuff I also replaced the ignition switch and it ran. So after I came back after finding out the car was starting I did well as enough research to replace a lot of parts and trying to find out what my problem was. So I replaced the starter relay, the starter itself, tried several different batteries like 3, checked all fuses and fusible links which are good, I bought a new battery which is in right now and that didn't work. I tried taking out the theft box to see if that works and it didn't. So I've been told by a lot of people different things about the security light that flashes when the doors are open but when I turn the key to the start position a couple things happen. The security light flashes as long as i hold it there and my accessory lights with along my clock go out. I have power to lights blinkers brights everything but still doesn't start. I tried talking around to most automotive shops near me and they have no idea what's going on either so basically you guys are my last hope I really love this car and don't want to give up on it so please help me out It'll be very appreciated.

Very sorry to hear about the issues you're having. I'm not an expert, so I really can't offer much personally. Most typical auto shops will have no idea on where to even start on a Z32... not even (or especially) dealerships. You need to have a Z32 specialist check it out. Where are you located?

I don't know what's in that area, but I'd definitely search around a bit. There's bound to be a Z community of some sort in a city like St. Louis. You'll get the best recommendations from other Z owners who are/have been there. I was going to say, if you're on the east coast (northern), Bernie Bilski in DC is top notch, but I guess that's not overly helpful. Networking on something like this is key. Venturing over to twintubo.net will expose you to more Z32-specific traffic also.

I definitely wouldn't give up on it. With no crank, no nothing, while it really could be anything... it could be as simple as a corroded connection. That's why you need someone who has lived and breathed these things for years. There's a fair chance someone has run into this issue before.

Well I appreciate you looking into my problem and giving me some actual advice. Came to find out I actually found my problem when I just went out there and started to work on it again. Somewhere from the ignition switch wire towards the starter plug wire I have no power so If anyone else is having this problem I advise following the wire from the starter solenoid follow that with a multimeter towards the plug on the top right of the engine if your siting in the car. I just grabbed a wire that was laying around and put it in the plug that went towards the starter and put the key in to the start position, touched it with the positive side of the battery and it started up just fine and ran great but if I find something else out I will definitely post here to help whoever else has this problem. Again thanks woodnutz for the interest much appreciated.
