Hey everyone,

A few days ago we had the first frost (not sure if it'll make a difference, but I'd rather have TMI than not enough). It was a little slow starting, but I figured it was just the cold. That afternoon, again a little slow, but faster than the morning. The next morning, no starty. There aren't any GPS devices or radar detectors to sap battery. I replaced the starter relay, but when the ignition is turned, I don't hear it click. I hear the ACC|Diff. Oil relay click, but thats it. I don't hear anything from near the starter. Help?

The starter relay will click intermittently...is this a case of bad wiring? Anyone?

If its cold out and have an older battery good luck getting any juice out of it. Batteries don't work very well in the cold, even worse with an older battery. A friend of mine can't drive her car in the mornings because its cold enough it can't get enough amps from the battery to turn the starter over. Once it warms up, starts up no problem. So if it starts when its warmer out I'd lean towards battery, assuming you can't even get the car to crank when it won't start.

I would take the battery to an auto parts store and have them test it. My guess is it is bad.

If the battery tests good take the starter next. most likly one or both are going to test bad, but I wold bet battery first.

I went out and replaced the battery, it started in a heartbeat. About 15 minutes later, I went out there, and it wouldn't start. What is that wire harness that connects to the positive terminal of the battery called/what does it connect to?
