1990 wiring harness questions

i got a 1990 240 sx from my buddy and his friend put a 1992 dohc motor in from out of a 240.and they tried to use the stock harness and butchered it basically.so im trying to figure out if a 1992 dohc harness will plug in a 1990 sohc harness/computer whatever it needs to.im kinda new to this so you might have to break it down.

The DOHC engine harnesses are different than the SOHC harness. The transmission harnesses and interior harness are different as well.

welll the motor is bolted up to the transmission no problem.the only problem is i've been reading and the ka24e to the ka24de swap is just cutting the harness and putting in a dohc under the hood and color coding the wires.and i think it was the power steering pump throttle cable and a/c lines basicaly that was it
