I noticed that the 1994 has an actual center peice with storage and arm rest. Would that center fit in my 1990 Q45 or are the interiors completely different.

I think it would work.....I have a 90 and a 94....and it seems like the 94 unit would work just fine...I'll check tomorrow in the daylight and report back.

It might work, but how do you remove the existing arm rest thats attached to the driver's seat? And once removed, wouldnt that leave an ugly gaping hole in the side of the seat?

It seems like the 94 unit would slip inside the 90 base....I would think the arm rest would cover up any holes....I'll check on that next...
