Ok so now im just gathering some information about my car and Nissan KA series.
Ok I have a 1990 Stanza with the KA24E motor I want to run high compression The KA24E in my car has 8.6:1--> I was wondering if I could swap the pistons out of a 1989 240sx that has 9.1:1 compression into my car--> Second I was wondering if I could order a header for the 1989-1990 240SX since they had the KA24E motor for my stanza since I can’t find one for my car.
lastly for now i was wondering what motors i can swap into my Car. does KA series bolt right in??? because i was looking to invest in a KA24DE out of a 1994 240sx.

Well, first of all, welcome to NICO! How did you find us?
Secondly, you will not be able to interchange engines or headers with a 240SX because it is rear wheel drive and your Stanza is FWD. Also, 9-1 compression is not high compression. It sounds to me like you want around a 10.5-1 ratio to gain the greater power and volumetric efficiency, correct? If it were me, and I wanted to run NA (naturally aspirated) I would build the KA that is in it or I would drop in a FWD SR20DET.
Whatever you do, DO NOT buy a KA from a 240. You will not be able to use it. If you decide you must have a KA24DE, get one from an Altima. I have not performed such a swap and cannot tell you the details involved, but if I were going to that much trouble, I would be going turbo.

first off i found you off of a web site and im gald to have found this place..
and what modle cars that have the SR20DET motor that is set up for FWD. accordily to Wikpedia. and where can i get the 10.1 ratio pistons or what not??? you have any sites that i cna visit for some performance parts?? thanks for the help though
