1990 s13 RPM gauge not working. sr20det

Hello I got a swap a while back and was told the rmp gauge doesn't work with the sr20 swap. It's a heads up display if that makes a difference.

So i was wondering if it was hooked up right or if their was a way i could make it work besides buyen a aftermarket gauge.
