Hi, I am looking to put some wheels on my 1990 r32 gts-4 skyline. Any help on an offset or rim sizes would be great. I was looking at enkei raijin 18" by 9.5" +15offset

+15 offset would probably work pretty well.

If I remember R32's correctly, stock wheels were 16X6.5 Where as the GT-R was a 16X8 with 225/50/16 tires.

You could probably get away with running the very common 265/35/18 that a LOT of GT-R owners run (I do!) with those 18" wheels.

My tires have a very slight stretch on the same size wheels as you have, so you could probably even go with a 275 width tire and it would look very nice.

If you're into the stretch look, try a 255-245/40/18 and you'd probably be golden.

And after googling the wheels, those look kinda nice. What color is your Skyline and is it a 2 or 4 door?

Hi Nico 927,

PM anytime you want and I'll tell you about my experience so far for a 1992 GTS-4 with a built RB26DETT swap in it.

I'm rollin a GTS-4 also. Just this week I tried to put some Varrstoen ES220 Wheels - 17x9 w/30 offset and I'm sticking out of the fenders just about a 1/4 or 3/8 of an inch. I'm just dry fitting the wheels right now... No tires yet. I'm close to zero camber right now and I'm not lowered beyond what Nismo oem suspension does for us. Unfortunately for me, Varrstoen doesn't look like they offer a 17x8 ES220 wheel or I'd be all over it.

I was going to put some 255 40 R17's "YOKOHAMA - S Drive" tires on them, but now I'm not so sure due to the rim sticks out slightly in front wells and the strut tower on the front wheels might also rub for this size of tire.

Rota has a 17x8.5 that might work better for me but getting it in the U.S.A. might be difficult and involve more expensive shipping. And yes, Gold is exactly right... Stock for us is 16x6.5 unfortunately and our lack of fender flares makes it a tough fitment to get a nice aggressive stance. A couple of years ago I upgraded my stock rims to a 17x7 with a 37 offset with lots of space to spare. But it doesn't look aggressive enough at that size.

So I'm stuck at the moment.
