I am sorry to hear about the loss.

I know this is after the fact but as my other posts show, I usually think out of the box. My anti-theft device is simple but only works if we keep it among ourselves. I know .. I know I'm letting it out of the bag but its no good unless somebody uses it.

OK here it is. Remove the cigarette lighter from the front ash tray, next remove the heating element. replace it with a button to kill power to the fuel pump at the relay. replace..

Who in their fricken mind sticks their finger down a 12 volt lighter ......... I know I don't

Tah Dah... Another free warped idea from the mind of Jonsey

shhhh. criminals might be listening

I buy my parts from infinitipartsUSA(new) or from local wreckers (used)There seem to be enough parts around here without ordering a car to be stolen for just that purpose.........There are only a few of us Australian/NewZealanders on this forum, and I don't recall any of us needing to resort to having a car stolen to supply us parts. Thanks for the vote of confidence.

PS: Sorry about your Q I hope it turns up soon.

I hope you're not planning to smuggle out a herd of our happy cows too.I think Tech just forgot to put a smiley face at the end of his post.

It happens here in California (L.A., S.F., Sacramento, Bakersfield) every night that a Honda Civic, Honda Accord, 240SX gets stolen for another owner who needs a $10 part. It's doubtful that any Aussies are placing the orders.

Mike I think it's more like a $2 used part, but most cases they get the parts they need and part out the rest. It's terrible wonder why I didn't go with the 240sx?My cousin's friend mustang got broken into in concord. It was a raining night and he ran after the guy until his flip flops flew off.He could have let his dogs go,2 pitbulls and some jangaroo looking kind dog,but the cops said good thing he didn't.

CA is terrible when it comes to people being jealous or hating your car.Hope it turns up.If not wish for best that most things happen for a reason.Sometimes even for the best.Better will be coming your way.
