Hi to all,I am having intermittant problems with the speedometer dropping to 0 mph and heavy steering at slow speeds. Looking in my FSM can't seem to locate where the speed sensor is located on the transmission. I see in FSM where the turbine revolution sensor and revolution sensor are located but, not the speed sensor. Is it difficult to R&R ?

May not be sensor, but a typical failure in the speedometer circuit board where the frequency signal from S sensor is converted to MULTIPLE voltages to feed speedometer, PS, CC, TCU, etc.

Speed sensor is on rear pass side near tail shaft AS SHOWN in FSM.

I would have expected every 1990 to have had a replacement speedometer + circuit board by now. Mine only lasted 7.5 years. The brand new replacement has made it 12 years now.
