Prime the HLA's: remove the Fuel pump fuse and crank for 15 seconds-Thanks Maxnix.

I am positive its the injectors making that ticking noise though unless you can provide audio evidence.

silky smooth upon startup, 4 mile commute...starts out sputtering, then total misfire hard now, total injector failure kangroo hop. I should be able to find it easy now. We hope. Thank goodness I have a short commute, or my Q would be done.....

Why not consider rehabilitating the whole intake and fuel system?

Seems like you are just urinating upwind for now.

Read Heaths's thread on after market injector trial.

And I agree, but I like to do 140 down highway 370 in my decade old car. I dont want to put any more than I have to in it.

Just as I feared, 5-8 are on the way out, failing one right after the other. Screw the multimeter test. I just used a pliers with a long handle and started pulling injector wires while it ran. When I found the injector, I pulled the coil pack plug too. You can test all of your injectors that way, cept for 6 I believe, the drivers side 3rd one back, I just pulled the coil pack to test it. Well here goes nothing, if it fixes it...you wont see me in this thread anymore....

It fouled the #5 spark plug badly, totally misfiring. It was dripping wet with gas. Spark plug changed, oil changed and the problem is now solved. C-ya guys around....

A ton and very much!! Thank you for your concern, but 370 is a brand new highway out here with no traffic, a straight shot for about 75 miles; a real midwest autobaun. Just ask Jesda, highway 364 is another one. My brakes, pads and rotors are all OEM and less than a year old. My tires are not even a year old. It is perfectly safe to achieve a speed of 120, no problem. Niqole is perfectly smooth at that speed. I reached 140 in the Q a couple of times with my NICO ECU (buried the needle in my 04 neon at 120+, my cars love BG MOA) and I think 120 is as fast as anyone should need to go; Im just bragging. Most of my friends have reached ridiculous speeds in their cars/motorcycles on those highways. I take it there is no such place where you live, my condolences. It does sound crazy if you do not know the situation. My girl used to freak out, but she is used to it now.Plus, I have already did the plenum job, KS, new FP and I am about done with the injectors already. Niqole is at her prime and couldn't be faster. I have not had a car pull up next to me that I have not totally owned on the highway. I have not squared off with a vette yet...

Doncha just LOVE that about the good ol' Q45 luxobarge? No competition within miles.

... but you're gonna have some trouble with that vette.
