Newbie to the club!
I have a 1990 Pathfinder SE V6 and the timing belt went out.
I purchased new belt, tensioner, water pump, thermostat, hoses, belts and cam seals.
I have a few questions: First, when I removed the balancer it separated into 2 pieces, is this ok, if so, Is there a certain way to press them back together.
Secondly, I think I have the timing and firing order understood correctly but verification would be good. Basically line up all 3 sprockets punch marks with rear cover marks with #1 at TDC on compression stroke and make sure distributor rotor is pointing to #1? Firing order 1-2-3-4-5-6?
Thirdly, I need to replace the cam seals, what is the easiest way and what is the a bolt removal and assembly sequence and torque specs on the cam?
Lastly, is there a good way to find out if the valves got bent?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Try searching first (the red flashing thingy). However i have never seen a VG30 break a timing belt without at least bending some of the valves.

I'm not finding anything in the search to help answer any of my questions?
