1990 Nissan Cefiro parts on a 1990 240SX

Got the coilovers and front rotors/calipers changed over to the 240 yesterday. Two main issues: the dust covers had to be pushed back because they were contacting the rotors, and I had to put in wheels spacers up front because the tires were rubbing the springs.

The rotors are a good 1/2" wider in diameter and the calipers/brakepads are larger by 15% or so. Much better bite, haven't tested out fading yet.

The coilovers kinda suck because they are quite old, but they are better than what was on the car when I got it. At least now I can start learning e-brake manuevers without the car and tires hopping around.

Now if only I could get the RB20 motor that came with everything into the 240.

Where exactly are you? Canada? Or did you somehow get a whole car imported to the US? And let's get some pics of everything!Never heard of anyone putting the RB from a Cefiro into a 240.. would be an interesting expiriment

I'm in Texas. A friend of mine is the owner of Solar Imports and did indeed import the front clip of a Cefiro.

If it all works, then it's an extremely cheap way to get a very nice S13.

Is the Xmember somehow different (read:better) than the R32 one or what?

Clip was $1500, included set of wheels/tires and as said above, full set of crappy coilovers.

I have no idea on the x-member because I've never seen any imported motors to compare against.
