Its quite easy, all I did was remove all the lines, evaporator, condenser, remove the
compressor and drains its contents completely, flush out all the lines including the evaporator
and condenser then blow compressed air too remove the solvent contents.
"Dont flush the compressor" !

I ordered a Receiver Drier and a Expansion Valve, and a O-ring kit for replacing
all of the A/C line O-rings.. I ordered these parts from ACkits.com

For the compressor oil I bought Castrol Ester Synthetic in EBay ..
When adding oil into the compressor make sure to remove a drain plug
from the compressor add 6.75 oz, I added 7.00 oz

I bought the adaptors for the Low and High side in Walmart.
Once you installed everything back in the car, With your manifold gauge set Vacuum your A/C System for an hour,
After you are done doing the Vacuum leave your guages still conneted to the adapter ports for an hour check the guages for leaks.
Use a jumper wire to bypass the Compressor Relay. Add one can of R-134a to the suction side, add another can half of R-134a.. Then enjoy the comfort of the cold air of your A/C system :)

Perhaps you might know the answer to a couple of questions I have for a retrofit.

Where is the drain on the air compressor?

What were your manifold gauge readings after the system was charged and working well?
