1990 nissan 300zx non turbo

So I just bought this 1990 nissan 300 zx non turbo it starts fine but if I turn off and then try to turn in back on it wont start so I leave it for like 30 min and turns back on again and stinks like gas does anyone know what this could be????

Test your injectors, they either could be sticking open or ohmed out of spec. Factory spec should be between 10-14 ohms.

It could be injectors like nissanfreak said, or your coolant temp. sensor went bad (not uncommon if it's original).
