1990 nissan 300zx new engine with low miles

If you have a car that the engine stopped working and the engine was the problem and the decision was made too install a new engine but the intrument cluster had the original miles from the other engine and you wanted the that the intrument panel read the low miles from the new engine how do you reset the miles or is there a special place that resets instrument clusters from the miles?

The mileage doesn't "just reflect the motor", it alo reflect the entire car. The best thing is to have full documentation proving the improvements/repairs you've made.

Anything else could easily be seen as "tampering".
