I have a problem Im going to tighten the bolts from my cylinder head in numerical order the specs are here. From tightening procedure number [4] should I tighten all bolts 25 ft-lbs then 33 ft-lbs or should I choose either 25 ft-lbs or 33 ft-lbs to tighten the bolts. Im confused I need someone to tell me what to do?

Tighten cylinder head bolts in numerical order. Tightening procedure[1]Tighten all bolts to 29 ft-lbs[2]Tighten all bolts to 90 ft-lbs[3]Loosen all bolts completely[4]Tighten all bolts to 25 to 33 ft-lbs[5]Tighten all bolts to 90 ft-lbs

The "25 to 33" is a range of ONE tightening, not two seperate tightenings of 25, then 33.

Hope that's what you were asking.

So what your saying is that I could chose either 25 ft-lbs or 33 ft-lbs to tighten my cylinder head but not both to tighten?

You'll pick a value somewhere in that range - For example, 30.

So I could pick 33 ft-lbs in that range so I could tighten my cylinder head bolts with 33 ft-lbs?
