Does anyone have any idea what a code 41 is? My car has been idling really bad and it threw code 12 so I cleaned out the MAF and reset the ECU. Now it is throwing code 41. Four blinks of the red one blink of the green. I have never seen this code before or read it anywere. Could my ECU be dead? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

IIRC, i think Code 41 is EGR fault. it makes sense because your EGR can cause rough idle because the EGR is not opening at the right time.

Is there any way to test the EGR valve. Or can I remove it and clean it? Also when I start the car I have to hold the gas in for about a minute or the car will just die out. After it warms up just a little it will idle without me holding in the gas but very rough.

well the car will run rich until the engine warms up.

i think you can test it with a vacuum pump and tee fitting. just attach a vacuum tee between the lines of the EGR and to the vacuum pump. with the car on, apply vacuum, and see if the condition of the engine changes.
