Hey, any help on a no start?

I'm working on a 1990 Maxima 3.0 V6 5-speed carthe car was running fine untill oneday it just stoped and would not start. It was if the Fuel pump wasn't priming? so replaced with new pump, still no start..checked relays to fuel pump and jumped relay fuelpump runscranked over no start.. checked ditributer, checked coil(replaced), checked that cam sensor resistor(very pricy by the way) and all conections(all good and getting power to the injectors but no start...) throttle position sensor???in my shop manuel it shows the ECU with it's red and green test lights.(I've tried everything else I'm thinking...does the ECU go bad..)pulled harness off getting power to pins, I turned the screw clockwise to start test and a red light is saposed to flash no flash? I realize this is an oldie just wondering if anyone knows how to test the ECU to see if it's dead? 100 Bucks for a yard ECU if I don't have to I'd rather not.. any tricks?

Wow you are going at this with all your might. However you have not posted the most basic tests you are suppose to do first.

1) check for spark; are you getting spark at the plugs when cranking. 2) what is you fuel pressure; Is it at 36psi to 41psi when cranking? or is it lower then 20psi??3) What is your compression; are all cyls even and above 150psi?

Those 3 are needed for a car to run, simply having fuel is not enough you need to know the pressure.

If you find you have no spark or no fuel pressure back probe BOTH sides of all your fuses with the key on. Do you have power on both sides of all fuses that have power?

By reading your post you have bypassed all the basic inspections that will guide you in the right direction. This is a mistake many above apprentice techs make and learn as time goes on to make sure the basics check out first.
