1990 M30

Hello to all - first timer!

I have a 1990 m30 and just got it. I have a problem that has not been clearly defined. I was told that I need a new chip set that would cost $1600. Does that seem correct and does anyone have some helpful suggestions?

Welcome!

It's hard to say if that's a reasonable solution without knowing more about the problem.What are some of the symptoms? Any more information?

Also, I've moved this to the M30 forum where it'll get more help.
