ok, i read the write up on this swap, but it isnt case specific so I'm going to need a little clarification.

my problem: my 1990 is a 5SPD and the KA-DE im installing is from an AUTOMATIC S14, what exactly will i need to make the swap successful? can i take the wiring harness/ECU from a 93 dual cam and use it?

a buddy told me i can use the wiring harness from the S14 and put in the 5spd trans harness along with a DOHC speed sensor, is that true?

also, the write up states that i need to use a DC tach, is that true? cause i've never been told of that.

thanks nico!

Use '91-'94 harness, ecu, etc. Need '91-'94 intake manifold for the '96 engine.

For the AT engine, look in 5-speed swap thread. Need to remove the AT bearing and replace with MT pilot bushing.

Need DOHC tach when using DOHC engine.
