I just recently came accrost my first 240sx. I got it for free because it has a blown motor. I checked what the problem was and the previous owner threw the rod. So far what I can tell there is no block damage but there might be inside. I have never replaced a rod before and I figured I might as well get a rebuild kit and do that at the same time. I was wondering if there was a step by steop guide around here that if for rebuilding a ka24e. Or atleast a guide to replacing a rod. Also is there a way to do it with out removing my engine from the car? I do my own work on my vehicles so please do not suggest me to take it to a shop >_<.

Without removing the engine from the car? Good luck with that one. It can be done but a serious pita, the crank is what really comes to mind lol. You can d/l the fsm or you can search many topics like bearing selection and so on to guide you through your rebuild.
