1990 JDM front clips.

Anyone have one/know where one can be purchased?? I'm wondering how much they are, I need the WHOLE front clip..as all the welds and everything..what's wrong with my car? Strut towers need re-welding..i think it'd be cheaper to chop that front clip, buy a JDM and weld that on instead. Do they just weld right on or do you have to do some mods in the engine bay to get em to fit right?

it would be cheaper to buy another 240 body for like 400 bucks and put your engine in it.

Ehh there's too much **** to swap off of this thing...I'd rather just go with front clip..it's so easily done..no big hassles.

You'd have to move the engine, and you won't have very good structural integrity because the 240SX is a unibody. It will most likely drive like **** after you weld a front end onto it. Better to buy a nonrunning 240 and swap your engine into it. Plus, those front clips are mangled to hell.

Really? didn't know that... damn.. ...well then what about just getting the stock 1990 Front clip..just with the god damn strut towers together!!!! Would that be bad?

YES!! You're car would run/handle/drive like absolute s***. Like Dauntless said, buy a shell for cheap, swap everything over. I think that would be easier than welding anyway because of:1. cost2. taking off wiring harnesses, gutting interior, shift linkage, drive shaft, ect.3. time, if you're not doing it yourself, some other place will take forever to do it.

Wow, i had NO idea about all the crap just to do some front end welding...i talked to dauntless about stuff and we're all good. Now i just need to see if my engine is good or not....
