Welcome to NICO!

The club has a full set of Field Service Manuals available for downloading at the following internet address.

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM

Also, check out www.q45.org for more information.

Just out of curiosity, how did you determine the problem is with the oil pump?

It will help club members do a better job of helping help you to know more about your car, mileage, length of ownership, and timing chain guide history. Lot of this information is covered at www.q45.org.

I'll jump back in a few with a pointer to a manual section location.

The oil pump sits behind the large sprocket in the following picture..

This is a picture before I changed the timing chain guides on my 91.

Welcome to NICO! Have you read up on the timing chain guides/tensioners issues with the early Q45 motors? Unless you've done some diagnosis you didn't mention I'm thinking this may be your problem rather than the oil pump. Don't buy any parts until you get the timing chain covers off and take a look.
