1990 HB Truck erratic idle

Hello I have a 1990 HB truck 3.0 v-6 multi-port fuel injected 4x4 manual trans. The truck was idleing about 2000 rpms I thought it was the throttle position sensor so I changed it now the engine idles erratic goes from 2000 rpm down to 1000 rpm and back continuesly any ideas what is causing this I was thinking 02 sensor or maybe mass air flow sensor (please keep in mind this is multi-port fuel injected NOT throttle body) Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and Thanks in advance for any help

Idle Air Control Valve, or IACV, sounds like it is failing.
