1990 Hatch w/ SR ticks.

Hey guys just picked up a 1990 hatch sil front with an SR and it has almost a valve sounding tick but i cant tell for sure if thats what it is.
It has some big deshworks injectors, and ive heard that they are noisy.
Could that be the sound im hearing or do i need to pull the valve cover and start looking?
other than that it runs great.

I'd start by putting a stethoscope or screwdriver on the injectors and see if they match the sound, frequency, and time of the tap you're hearing.
The next step would be to pull the valve cover and check valve clearances.
