Okay here's the deal, I really need help on this.. I saw this car on Craiglist a while a go and I decided to go look at it. It was in a crash back in like October November. This car has sat since then not running or driving at all... Really bad for a Z I know. Anyway the kid wanted 3500 for it and I got him down to 2200.. I was paying on a payment plan and I've got $1300 payed and I have the rest now but I never got to hear it run so I went yesterday and I got it running after about 1hr not bad :) but after i got her running it started smoking white and blue and it also smelt very rich when it ran. It also had little bit of smoke coming from the passenger side rear of the motor.. Now I'm scared.. What should I do ask for my money back or see if I can get it for $1500 or something like that. The interior is mint and the car has around 80k miles on it. Great shape with a tiny bit of rust on the driver side rocker and a little underneath on the body mounts. Tires are brand new. Also the rear hatch window the passenger side door and ttop were smashed by some scumbag kid. It was in a low speed front end crash. Not to much damage moved the front part of the engine bat back about 1 inch. I was wondering if the engine got pushed back also? Because the clutch is basically shot and it has that wierd smell of something rubbing. I think i could part it out and make 2500-3000 on it but idk. The interior is absolutely mint. It's sad because I don't want it to keep sitting and rotting away it deserves better. It doesn't have a salvage title either. I have a 96 na Z now and I want a tt for like 2500 so I jumped on this. Should I forget it? It won't shift into first or second when it's running because the clutch is gone so I can't drive it. Maybe the linkage is screwed up I'm so confused. This things a basket case please help I don't really get on it in the vid because it was low on fuel and it was a little sputtery it cleared up as it ran more but it smoked the yard out in it's white and blue smoke.. What could it be head gasket, turbos, turbo seals, pcv??? It has a cat less exhaust and it's a pretty crappy exhaust

Did you mean to post a video or something?

Anyway, there are a bunch of possibilities. Most likely is that the turbo seals, or some other seals, have dried out from sitting and are now torn. From the sound of it, your best bet is to pull the whole engine and trans. That way you can do a full rebuild and also see how the frame looks

Yea I did try to post a vid. It didn't work. What would you think it's worth as it sits now? With all the problems. And what would it cost to rebuild? Like if I used all used body parts that would save quite a bit I think. I'm going to try to post the vid again
